Pepper Tree House in Southern Suburbs Reviewed by John Ostrowick, South Africa on . Nice Pepper Tree House is a renovated house with outbuildings. You get to stay either in the main house or one of the rooms in the outbuildings. It seems to cater for students and has a bit of a feel of a 'digs' about it because of the house-sharing thing. I was particularly impressed by the fact that I was given such a good price, and that the owners were helpful and friendly. It's also very close to the university (UCT), so ideal for students/visiting lecturers. Parking is limited to two bays in the driveway open to the street. My only criticism is that my room wasn't quite ready when I arrived (probably my fault).
