Pepper Tree House is close to everything • 12 minutes from the airport • 15 minutes from Clifton Beach. • 8 minutes from the V&A Waterfront • 8 minutes from Cavendish Square • 2 minutes from the universiy of Cape Town and 30 minutes from the Winelands. Designed to suit you needs, you can either rent the main house as a unit on its own, (sleeps a maximum of 5) or rent some of the courtyard suites if you are a larger group. (Courtyard suites sleep a maximum of 6). The main house has a large open plan kitchen, lounge and dinning area; 1 double room and 2 rooms with single beds; 2 bathrooms and the use of a washing machine. Courtyard suites four of the courtyard rooms have single beds with bathrooms, while one of the courtyard rooms is a double suite. The house has wireless Internet access.

You get to stay either in the main house or one of the rooms in the outbuildings. It seems to cater for students and has a bit of a feel of a 'digs' about it because of the house-sharing thing. I was particularly impressed by the fact that I was given such a good price, and that the owners were helpful and friendly. It's also very close to the university (UCT), so ideal for students/visiting lecturers. Parking is limited to two bays in the driveway open to the street. My only criticism is that my room wasn't quite ready when I arrived (probably my fault).

Jane was there to meet us with her friendly, bubbly, caring personality. She made us feel at home and catered to our every need. I will definitely recommend Pepper Tree House to anybody looking for a lovely, comfortable home.
