Description
Tau Roara Lodge is only a few hours' drive from Johannesburg, between the maize fields of the North West Province in Lichtenburg. Come and enjoy the tranquility of nature, the magnificence of the lions and the hospitality of the countryside, away from the rush of life.

The lodge has three luxurious self-catering chalets. One chalet has two beds and the other two chalets have five beds in each. You will have amazing views of the lions which are only 10 m away from the chalets. There is a communal kitchen and a lapa area with an open fire. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the night and let the roar of the lions fill the silence. We also have 16 campsites with electricity. These sites have use of clean and neat ablution facilities with warm water.

You can touch and hold the lion cubs at the lodge and watch the lions while they are feeding. There is other wildlife on the farm such as crocodiles and wild dogs. Our facilities include a clear swimming pool for dips on the hot days, a pool table, swings for the children, a colour TV with local channels, a fan and a heater are in each chalet.
